October 30th Event Schedule

3:30PM ET/12:30PM PT

Kick-start your scares with the masters of fright, Max Brallier (Mister Shivers, Eerie Elementary) and R.L. Stine (Goosebumps). Just how do they come up with their spine-tingling stories? First, find out in their author Q&A, then put their words to practice as they lead a collaborative scary story writing jam.

It's no trick: here's your treat!

Be sure to visit The Hub after the event to read a free digital copy of Goosebumps Monster Blood from R.L. Stine. And check the Newsfeed to read along with Max Brallier on video as he shares scares from Eerie Elementary and Mister Shivers.

***Costume Dance Party Intermission!***

Now is your time in the spotlight! Dress your avatar in your best costume (get creative, there are a ton of ways to customize your character!) and bust a move for all four authors in our costume dance party intermission! Note: the end of the dance party might be a good time for younger (early elementary) kids to say goodbye, as the scares get a bit more sophisticated in the next session.

4:00pm ET / 1:00pm PT

Time to turn it up a notch… if you dare! Daka Hermon and K.R. Alexander are known for middle-grade frights, but what makes them jump in the night? That answer and more will be revealed in an author Q&A, followed by a rapid-fire scary story-starter session, moderated by the authors.

It’s no trick: here’s your treat!

Be sure to visit the Hub after the event for more scares: enjoy free digital story samplers from Daka Hermon and K.R. Alexander.
