Debora Pearson is the author of the first books in the Mighty Wheels series, "Load 'Em Up Trucks" and "Hard Working Wheels," both illustrated by Chum McLeod. She co-authored the first three books in Annick Press's Adventure Travel series: "52 Days by Camel: My Sahara Adventure" (1998), "By Truck to the Arctic" (1998) and "Jungle Islands: South Sea Adventure"(2000). Debora is also the editor of the acclaimed "The TV Book: The Kids' Guide to Talking Back" (1996) by Shelagh Wallace. She lives in Toronto.

Chum McLeod graduated from the Ontario College of Art in 1989. Since then Chum has been
